Notice to Jammers:
Upon arriving, please sign in at?the sign-up sheet provided by the house; this permits us to accurately guage the number and type of performers, instrumentation available, etc.? In order to provide the best possible show, we endeavor to match players of like abilities.?? Because of this, order of sign-in will not necessarily indicate order of play.? We can get quite a few?jam participants?and need to keep the show moving; please be ready when you are called.? The jam music may, at times, stray from traditional?R&B and can?become quite challenging.? If you're not sure if you're ready, feel free to simply introduce yourself and sit back and check out the scene.? But don't be discouraged.? If you arrive and some guy's are wailing a be-bop style jazz sax,?just wait and see what the next set brings.? We regularly get players of varying? levels and have wide flexibility in scheduling jammers.
Guitarists/Bassists - Please tune up in advance; cord required, amp recommended.
Vocalists must know their keys/grooves and actively conduct stops, etc.
